gather, to communicate and to exhibit by promoting fine arts for local and regional communities.
Over 40 fine artists with the highest quality of professionalism are represented specializing in oils
watercolors, acrylics, pastels, pottery, fiber arts, glass art, jewelry, bead work, photograpy, wood
sculpures, drawing, collage and more. Various styles, material and subject matter are featured in
this spacious downtown art gallery and working studio in Salida, Colorado.

The month of May brings new and exciting happenings at Art Matters Gallery
Join us for our "Dancing in the Moonlight" Juried Art Exhibit gallery reception
and to meet the artists on Saturday May 8th, 3-6pm. Colorado regional
and statewide artists will represent their take on night, evening and dawn.
This exhibit will be up for the months of May and June. Historic Downtown
Salida will also be conducting our "2nd Saturday Gallery Tour" on
May 8th, as well. Most galleries will be open til 6pm.

May is also featuring one of the gallery's members, Corey Hendershott,
an oil painter of distinct techniques and subject matter. See his newest paintings of traditional landscapes to the more abstract and expressionist styles of color and mood.
Art Classes will be conducted at the gallery throughout May.
